If the checkpoint delay stretches beyond 3 hours, we’ll give you a call right there and then, and you can choose how you want to proceed:

At this time, there is no standard cross-border insurance coverage for second-hand household items moving between Singapore and Malaysia.

Based on current industry regulations and what we’ve seen over 5+ years:
Only brand new, taxable, ready-for-sale items (with commercial invoices) are eligible for goods-in-transit insurance.
Second-hand furniture, electronics, clothes, or personal belongings are not covered by most insurance providers for cross-border moves.
This is a common limitation faced by all movers in this region — not just us.

This means they require:
